Trader is making too many requests

Trader is making too many requests to trade site. Can we have an option to only generate a trade link without the new grouping feature?

Can you elaborate a bit? Are you referring to the yellow text saying "Rate limited"? That text isn't an issue. It's just intended to be informative and something that explains why the UI is slow when e.g. doing multiple searches in a row.

The default behaviour is to only generate a link. The trader only evaluates items and performs searches if you are logged in. And after doing that you can click on the << Search button to show the link.

Yes the feature where if offers me a bunch of items. I think that feature is marking a bunch of requests to a trade site and then when I try to access the link my self in a browser it tells me to wait 60 seconds. For now I modified the code to prevent those calls, but I would really like to have an option to only show the links.

I see. That doesn't really sound normal. I haven't been able to get locked out myself even after doing multiple searches and opening the link. Is there perhaps something you're doing different? Even when the trader window is clearly being rate limited, I can open multiple trade site searches

The problem is that the weighted sum is useless without a minimum amount. If there are 10000+ matches with no sensible minimum, the results will be complete garbage as the search only returns an arbitrarily chosen set of 10k items. That's the reason the tool searches multiple times. You would essentially end up doing the same thing if you want the results to be correct.

For example with the same sum weights:

• https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2/search/poe2/Runes%20of%20Aldur/QLlRXYk7tw finds mirror tier bows
• https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2/search/poe2/Runes%20of%20Aldur/bG7pn0RLhL finds garbage bows

I think this would be very confusing to most users. It's not a well known problem.

Yes I noticed that search is bad without a minimum, I just add minimum manually to every search is it possible to add that to the original link? I'm not sure I just noticed 2 or 3 times I can't use search after I was fiddling with trader tool.
